In order to consistently win at poker, you must have a strategy. You must always be asking yourself "why?". Why are you calling? Why are you raising? Why did the other player act the way they did?
You will be surprised at how many players have no strategy, especially online. It's good that there are so many poor players - overall you will make money from those poor players and lose money to players better than you. It's a poker "food-chain" of sorts.
