Minnesota Legalizes a Variant of Poker - New York Times

Legislation signed on Friday by Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota legalizes Texas Hold'em poker tournaments in the state.

Tournaments are legal as long as the sponsors receive no financial benefits, the total prize money is less than $200, and there are no entry fees.
